  When I went in to the shop in Solihull, UK, I liked the style and colour (purple) of this shoe. I initially bought the standard fit (and was also sold a tube of matching purple polish) but on trying them on again at home I felt that they were too narrow across my toes. I took them back to the shop to exchange for the wide fitting. They said they would order these in and let me know when they were in. I waited a week and a half and then rang the shop because I had heard nothing. They said they still weren't in and to ring in a few days. I then sent an email to Hotter Shoes to complain about the wait and also about the huge amount of junk mail and spam emails they were sending me when I had specifically requested no marketing contact. Then, out of the blue, the shoes I had ordered arrived in the post. This was a nice surprise but unfortunately the shoes were too wide at the top of my foot (I am slim build but with wide feet, not fat feet)and too narrow at the end where my toes are so my toes were squashed side ways but the shoes slopped up and down at the heel. I took the shoes back to the shop today along with the purple polish which is of no use to me and I haven't even opened it. This polish had cost me £4. A refund was agreed for the shoes but I was told that they don't refund on polish. I gave the polish back to the assistant anyway because I have no use for a tube of purple polish since I have returned shoes. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Their customer service is awful with no contact about things you email them about but yet they completely ignore the data protection act and continuously send spam emails and marketing in the post. I get about 5 spam emails from them per week! They also refused to refund the polish even though I have never used it! I will never use this company again, ever.
